DETCON es el Congreso de Detectives Privados en Barcelona organizado por el Col·legi Oficial de Detectius Privats de Catalunya con objetivos muy claros y marcados en beneficio del colectivo.
En esta edición, el Col.legi Oficial de Detectius de Catalunya estrena colaboración con el Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona que abrió sus puertas para conocer y disfrutar de su impresionante Biblioteca y Sala de Vistas.
El jueves día 6 de junio los asistentes se desplazaron al ICAB para recrear un juicio donde se ratificó el informe de un detective privado, todo ello en una espectacular sala de vistas y con el respectivo juez y los abogados. Seguidamente, tuvieron la oportunidad de visitar de forma privada la Biblioteca del ICAB y luego dedicar el resto del tiempo a conocer a otros profesionales y hacer networking.
El viernes 7 de junio el Auditorio de la sede colegial acogió la inaugaración del DETCON y de las distintas ponencias que presentaron los profesionales del sector.
Fue una jornada intensa, pero muy interesante por los diferentes contenidos expuestos.
Temas como OSINT, IA, BIG DATA y Falsificaciones atrajeron la atención de los asistentes que pudieron profundizar en ellos a través de sus preguntas a los ponentes.
El sábado 8 de Junio fue el último día de ponencias en la Casa del Detective y la clausura.
El broche final del DETCON 2024 fue la celebración de la tradicional «Nit del Detectiu», que este año se celebró en el fantástico Restaurante Velissima de Barcelona donde tuvo lugar la entrega de los Premios.
La presentación de dichos Premios corrió a cargo de Mercè Ferrán, Pta. del Col.legi Oficial de Detectius Privats de Catalunya y de Esther Gómez, detective privado y perito. La entrega de los Premios fue a cargo de Nina Vélez-Troya, que dio el Premio Eugenio Vélez Troya a M. V. B. que recibió, además de la conocida escultura de Sherlock Holmes, el Diploma de Asistencia al DETCOM 2024.

DETCON is the Congress of Private Detectives in Barcelona organized by the Col-legi Oficial de Detectius Privats de Catalunya with very clear and marked objectives for the benefit of the group.
In this edition, the Col.legi Oficial de Detectius de Catalunya launches a new partnership with the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Barcelona, which opened its doors to learn about and enjoy its impressive Library and Viewing Room.
On Thursday, June 6, the attendees went to the ICAB to recreate a trial where the report of a private detective was ratified, all in a spectacular courtroom and with the respective judge and lawyers. Afterwards, they had the opportunity to visit privately the ICAB Library and then spend the rest of the time meeting other professionals and networking.
On Friday, June 7, the Auditorium of the college headquarters hosted the inauguration of DETCON and the various papers presented by professionals in the sector.
It was an intense day, but very interesting for the different contents exposed.
Topics such as OSINT, AI, BIG DATA and Counterfeiting attracted the attention of the attendees who were able to delve into them through their questions to the speakers.
Saturday, June 8 was the last day of presentations at the Casa del Detective and the closing.

The presentation of the Awards was made by Mercè Ferrán, President of the Col.legi Oficial de Detectius Privats de Catalunya and Esther Gómez, private detective and expert. The awards were presented by Nina Vélez-Troya, who gave the Eugenio Vélez Troya Award to M.V.B., who received, in addition to the well-known sculpture of Sherlock Holmes, the Diploma of Attendance at DETCOM 2024.
