SICUR 2022 reúne las novedades de un sector esencial para el impulso económico y social
Los próximos 22 al 25 de febrero, SICUR celebra una edición especialmente significativa para contribuir a restablecer y dinamizar las relaciones comerciales
La participación total en esta edición se eleva a 1.646 empresas, de las cuales 508 son expositores directos. La presencia internacional supone un 17,5%, con la participación de empresas de 21 países.
FORO SICUR examinará la actualidad sectorial y, completando la gran oferta de esta edición. se presenta la GALERÍA DE INNOVACIÓN y las áreas SICUR RESILIENCIA, SICUR CYBER y SICUR START UPS.
SICUR 2022, Salón Internacional de la Seguridad, que organiza IFEMA MADRID, abre sus puertas del 22 al 25 de febrero, para mostrar al mundo profesional un amplio despliegue de innovación en materia de seguridad integral. Será, además, una edición especialmente significativa para contribuir a restablecer y dinamizar las relaciones comerciales y el negocio, tras el periodo de crisis sanitaria en el que, precisamente, la seguridad, la prevención de riesgos y la protección de vidas y bienes, han demostrado su importancia para el funcionamiento de la economía y para el progreso de toda la sociedad.
En este contexto, SICUR ofrece una visión integral y marcadamente tecnológica, a lo largo de los pabellones 4, 6, 8 y 10 del Recinto Ferial y de la mano de un sector puntero y altamente innovador. La participación total en esta edición se eleva a 1.646 empresas, de las cuales 508 son expositores directos. La presencia internacional representa el 17,5%, con la participación de empresas de 20 países: Alemania, Australia, Austria, Bélgica, Bulgaria, Chile, Emiratos Árabes Unidos, Estados Unidos, Francia, India, Italia, Lituania, Luxemburgo, México, Países Bajos, Pakistán, Polonia, Portugal, Reino Unido y República Checa.
La oferta de SICUR se acompaña este año de la plataforma SICUR LIVEConnect que hibrida el evento y viene a complementar de forma digital la participación presencial de empresas y profesionales, permitiendo extender el marco temporal y geográfico para la preparación y seguimiento de la feria. SICUR LIVEConnect ofrece información sobre equipos, soluciones y servicios de los proveedores del sector, y cuenta con una potente herramienta de matchmaking que va a permitir conocer preferencias de los clientes; mantener reuniones online y agendar reuniones presenciales, y obtener contactos, entre otras funcionalidades.
Los grandes sectores de SICUR
Como es habitual, la oferta de SICUR se presenta articulada en tres grandes secciones. Por un lado, el sector de Seguridad contra Incendios y Emergencias, que representa el 23% de la oferta de SICUR, situará en el pabellón 8, los productos y equipos orientados a la protección pasiva y activa contra el fuego, así como las soluciones de respuesta para situaciones de emergencia -equipamientos y vehículos de bomberos, sistemas constructivos y barreras, sistemas de detección y extinción, y protección forestal. Se verá, por ejemplo, el modelo de camión de bomberos más estrecho del mercado para una mejor accesibilidad al casco urbano; importantes mejoras de conectividad en las centrales de detección de incendios; un avanzado sistema para la búsqueda de víctimas sepultadas, lo último en espumógenos para la extinción del fuego, o una línea de motobombas especialmente indicadas para incendios forestales, entre otras muchas novedades. Según la patronal TECNIFUEGO, la facturación de la protección activa alcanzó los 1.559 millones, de los que el 43% corresponden a la actividad de fabricación y el 57% a la instalación y mantenimiento, mientras que la de la protección pasiva se situó en 930 millones (26% fabricación y 74% instalación y mantenimiento).
El sector de Seguridad Laboral, ocupa los pabellones 4 y 6, con una participación del 34%, y una oferta al servicio del bienestar del trabajador, centrada en los equipos de Protección Individual (EPI’s), soluciones en prevención de riesgos laborales y nuevas propuestas de salud laboral. En estos pabellones se podrán conocer las más actuales líneas de calzado, gafas y guantes de protección, elaborados con avanzados materiales y diseños ergonómicos y confortables, arneses, sujeciones, Epis respiratorios, como mascarillas de alto nivel de protección profesional y social, uniformes y vestuario de trabajo elaborado con tejidos sostenibles y con posibilidad de reciclaje, entre otros productos. El sector de la Seguridad Laboral facturaba en España en torno a los 800 millones de euros, según los últimos datos correspondientes a 2019. Según informa ASEPAL, la Asociación de Empresas de Equipos de Protección Individual, las cifras post-Covid aún no están disponibles, si bien la previsión apunta a que la facturación en productos EPI se haya multiplicado exponencialmente.
La Seguridad electrónica, seguridad física, servicios de seguridad y toda la innovación tecnológica al servicio de la protección de bienes y vidas, se encuentra en el pabellón 10, donde se ubica la oferta del sector Security, con una participación que representa el 43% de SICUR. En este espacio se darán a conocer equipos de alta seguridad y anti terrorismo, sistemas inteligentes de control de accesos y de alarmas, vídeo vigilancia, protección perimetral, detección de intrusos, así como equipamiento para fuerzas y cuerpos de seguridad del estado. También se verán soluciones especiales para el sector de sanidad, puertas acorazadas y cajas fuertes inteligentes, cerraduras que se gestionan en remoto con el móvil, además de drones de última generación, y soluciones biométricas de alto rendimiento capaces de detectar varios rostros a la vez, con detección de mascarilla y medición de temperatura corporal, incluso un tejido para la protección de obras de arte contra el fuego, entre otras. El sector de la Seguridad Privada en España facturó en 2020, 4.214 millones de euros, según informe de APROSER, que recoge los datos más recientes de esta actividad. Por actividades, el segmento de Vigilancia alcanzó los 2.560 millones tras registrar un crecimiento del 0,9% respecto al año anterior. El área de Sistemas y Alarmas también aumentó su facturación, en un 0,5%, hasta los 1.393 millones, y el Transporte de Fondos cerró con 261 millones de euros.
SICUR CYBER
No faltará en esta edición el espacio dedicado a la ciberseguridad, SICUR CYBER, centrado en las soluciones y herramientas para la protección de la información, los sistemas y los datos de las empresas ante las ciberamenazas, co-organizado con Red Seguridad & Seguritecnia. SICUR CYBER, que ofrecerá un programa de conferencias y presentaciones orientadas a difundir conocimiento y cultura de ciberseguridad entre el mundo del security, y a dar voz a las necesidades de la industria de la seguridad y sus avances en este sentido.
SICUR RESILIENCIA
Además, SICUR RESILIENCIA, dedicado al concepto moderno de la Resiliencia de Empresas y Organizaciones, co-organizado con la Plataforma Tecnológica Española de Seguridad Industrial, PESI, acogerá el jueves, 24 de febrero, la celebración de la Jornada sobre la convocatoria I+D+i del Custer-3 Civil Security for Society del Horizonte Europa, el Congreso Internacional S2R (SAFETY & SECURITY RESEARCH IN EUROPE), y los Premios S2R Innovación y Mujer y Gestión de la Seguridad.
FORO SICUR
Otro de los grandes ejes de SICUR se encuentra en el programa de conferencias FORO SICUR, donde los expertos tratarán los nuevos retos y exigencias de la seguridad global, se abordarán temas como la Seguridad Civil para la Sociedad, Mujer y Seguridad; la contratación de servicios de seguridad; se analizará la seguridad operacional y operativa en la intervención de emergencias, y se hablará de la gestión de la crisis de pandemias, con demostraciones de soluciones tecnológicas. Además ofrecerá una jornada sobre drones; se abordarán las nuevas tecnologías en la resolución de incidentes e innovación y de nuevos retos en la lucha contra incendios. FORO SICUR también profundizará en la coordinación entre la salud pública y la salud laboral, en los nuevos retos en salud y bienestar laboral, entre otros muchos temas.
GALERIA DE INNOVACION
La GALERÍA DE INNOVACIÓN de SICUR mostrará un avance de las líneas de investigación y desarrollo en las que trabajan las empresas del sector de la seguridad. En esta ocasión se han seleccionado 31 productos que destacan por su alto grado de innovación en diseño y tecnología. Por sectores, 10 de estos productos son de aplicación al ámbito de la Seguridad Contra Incendios y Emergencias; 15 corresponden a Security, y 6 a Seguridad Laboral.
SICUR START UPS
El espacio SICUR START UPS dedicado a apoyar y dar visibilidad a nuevos proyectos y empresas emprendedoras, destaca este año a MANGOS COMODYN, RADICAL ARMOUR, TECNOPATENTE y HYDECONTROS, por sus soluciones para el ámbito de la seguridad. Entre ellas, un dispositivo destinado a la reducción de lesiones musculoesqueléticas; una tecnología de aplicación a prendas de protección para vigilantes; un dispositivo automático para la extinción de incendios, y un servicio aplicable al barrido electrónico de la inspección Técnica de Contravigilancia.

SICUR 2022 brings together the latest developments in a sector that is essential for economic and social development.
From 22 to 25 February, SICUR is holding a particularly significant edition to help re-establish and boost business relations.
The total participation in this edition amounts to 1,646 companies, of which 508 are direct exhibitors. The international presence represents 17.5%, with the participation of companies from 21 countries.
SICUR FORUM will examine the latest developments in the sector and, completing this edition’s wide-ranging offer, the INNOVATION GALLERY and the SICUR RESILIENCE, SICUR CYBER and SICUR START UPS areas will be presented.
SICUR 2022, the International Security Exhibition, organised by IFEMA MADRID, opens its doors from 22 to 25 February to show the professional world a wide range of innovation in the field of comprehensive security. It will also be a particularly significant edition to help re-establish and revitalise commercial relations and business after the health crisis period in which security, risk prevention and the protection of lives and property have demonstrated their importance for the functioning of the economy and for the progress of society as a whole.
In this context, SICUR offers a comprehensive and markedly technological vision, throughout Halls 4, 6, 8 and 10 of the Exhibition Centre and from the hand of a cutting-edge and highly innovative sector. The total participation in this edition amounts to 1,646 companies, of which 508 are direct exhibitors. The international presence represents 17.5%, with the participation of companies from 20 countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Chile, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Italy, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Mexico, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and the United States.
This year, SICUR‘s offer is accompanied by the SICUR LIVEConnect platform, which hybridises the event and digitally complements the in-person participation of companies and professionals, making it possible to extend the time and geographical framework for the preparation and monitoring of the fair. SICUR LIVEConnect offers information on equipment, solutions and services from suppliers in the sector, and has a powerful matchmaking tool that will allow us to find out customer preferences; hold online meetings and schedule face-to-face meetings, and obtain contacts, among other functionalities.
As usual, SICUR‘s offer will be divided into three main sections. On the one hand, the Fire and Emergency Safety sector, which represents 23% of SICUR‘s offer, will be located in Hall 8, with products and equipment for passive and active fire protection, as well as response solutions for emergency situations – fire fighting equipment and vehicles, construction systems and barriers, detection and extinguishing systems, and forest protection. For example, there will be the narrowest model of fire truck on the market for better accessibility to the city centre; important improvements in connectivity in fire detection centres; an advanced system for searching for buried victims, the latest in foam generators for extinguishing fires, and a line of motor pumps especially designed for forest fires, among many other new products. According to TECNIFUEGO, the turnover of active protection reached 1,559 million, of which 43% corresponds to manufacturing and 57% to installation and maintenance, while that of passive protection stood at 930 million (26% manufacturing and 74% installation and maintenance).
The Occupational Safety sector occupies Halls 4 and 6, with a 34% share, and an offer at the service of workers’ well-being, focusing on Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), solutions for the prevention of occupational hazards and new occupational health proposals. The pavilions will showcase the latest footwear, protection footwear, goggles and gloves, made with advanced materials and ergonomically-designed, comfortable products, harnesses, fastenings, respiratory equipment such as masks offering high levels of professional and social protection, uniforms and work wear made with sustainable fabrics and recyclable fabrics, among other products. The Work Safety at Work sector invoiced around 800 million Euros in Spain, according to the latest data corresponding to 2019. According to ASEPAL, the Association of Personal Protective Equipment Companies, the post-Covid figures are not yet available, although the forecast suggests that turnover in PPE products has multiplied exponentially.
Electronic security, physical security, security services and all the technological innovation at the service of the protection of goods and lives can be found in Hall 10, where the Security sector’s offer is located, with a participation that represents 43% of SICUR. This space will showcase high-security and anti-terrorism equipment, intelligent access control and alarm systems, video surveillance, perimeter protection, intrusion detection, as well as equipment for state security forces and corps. There will also be special solutions for the healthcare sector, armoured doors and smart safes, locks that can be managed remotely by mobile phone, as well as the latest generation of drones, and high-performance biometric solutions capable of detecting several faces at the same time, with mask detection and body temperature measurement, and even a fabric for protecting works of art against fire, among others. The Private Security sector in Spain had a turnover of 4,214 million euros in 2020, according to the APROSER report, which includes the most recent data on this activity. By activities, the Surveillance segment reached 2,560 million after registering a growth of 0.9% compared to the previous year. The Systems and Alarms area also increased its turnover by 0.5% to 1,393 million euros, and Cash-in-Transit closed with 261 million euros.
SICUR CYBER
This year’s edition will also include a space dedicated to cybersecurity, SICUR CYBER, focusing on solutions and tools for protecting companies’ information, systems and data against cyberthreats, co-organised with Red Seguridad & Seguritecnia. SICUR CYBER, which will offer a programme of conferences and presentations aimed at disseminating knowledge and culture of cybersecurity among the security world, and to give voice to the needs of the security industry and its advances in this regard.
SICUR RESILIENCE
In addition, SICUR RESILIENCE, dedicated to the modern concept of the Resilience of Companies and Organisations, co-organised with the Spanish Industrial Security Technology Platform, PESI, will host on Thursday, 24 February, the Conference on the Horizon Europe Custer-3 Civil Security for Society R&D&I call, the S2R (SAFETY & SECURITY RESEARCH IN EUROPE) International Congress, and the S2R Innovation and Women and Security Management Awards.
SICUR FORUM
Another of SICUR‘s main focuses is the FORO SICUR conference programme, where experts will address the new challenges and demands of global security, topics such as Civil Security for Society, Women and Security; the contracting of security services; operational and operational security in emergency intervention will be analysed, and the management of pandemic crises will be discussed, with demonstrations of technological solutions. There will also be a conference on drones, new technologies in incident resolution and innovation and new challenges in firefighting. FORO SICUR will also look in depth at the coordination between public health and occupational health, new challenges in occupational health and wellbeing, among many other topics.
INNOVATION GALLERY
SICUR’s INNOVATION GALLERY will show a preview of the lines of research and development in which companies in the security sector are working. On this occasion, 31 products have been selected that stand out for their high degree of innovation in design and technology. By sectors, 10 of these products are applicable to the field of Fire and Emergency Safety; 15 correspond to Security, and 6 to Occupational Safety.
SICUR START UPS
The SICUR START UPS space dedicated to supporting and giving visibility to new projects and entrepreneurial companies, this year highlights MANGOS COMODYN, RADICAL ARMOUR, TECNOPATENTE and HYDECONTROS, for their solutions in the field of security. These include a device designed to reduce musculoskeletal injuries; a technology applied to protective clothing for security guards; an automatic device for extinguishing fires, and a service applicable to the electronic sweep of the Technical Inspection of Counter-surveillance.
